14 Days of Valentines!

I know I have already posted today, but I thought it would be good to get some input. I am doing 14 Days of Valentines for Cody. I have done this for him before, but this year we opted not to purchase gifts for each other. So I am focusing my daily surprises on a service. Yesterday (Day 1) I ironed his shirt for him. Today (Day 2) it will be a back rub or a foot rub since he worked a really long weekend. Tomorrow (day 3) I will let him sleep in. Any ideas? Let me know.

I think this is an awesome idea! Mind if I use it...even if I start a day late? I was just thinking of a couple ideas myself. Cook their favorite meal. Spend an evening at the Temple. Plan a suprise picnic at the park--if they get a lunch. Thanks Linzi for the idea! I've been trying to think of something for Todd without spending money and nothing has been coming!

Totally go ahead and use it. I have done this for Cody probably 2 or 3 times and he loves it. I like hiding the notes in different places like in a shirt pocket, on his towel when he gets out of the shower, in his car. Last night when he got home I left a note out that said:
Over the next fourteen days make sure to open up your eyes, for each day you'll find a new surprise. Then in the pocket of the shirt I ironed I left a note that said Day 1 and wrote him a quick note. Thanks for the ideas, I will definitely use them.

that's funny about the tooth fairy! My kids would rather get a quarter than a dollar anyday-it's so funny to me! Maddie doesn't even like the tooth fairy-it weirds her out, having someone come into your room while your asleep lol. I miss your energy here in the DH-come back!!

What a fun idea Linzi! I will have to remember to try this next year.

I think you should offer to wax his chest. Now that sounds fun.

hmmm maybe he doesn't have chest hair- so maybe clipping his toenails would be a good substitution. Now we are talking romance!

Great idea Sandi, except Cody only has like 5 chest hairs. Well, it's the thought that counts, 5 or 500. Do you wax Dave's chest? If so, any tips?
